While you’ve found the Circle doorbell is offline in the app, you should reboot the doorbell, phone, and Wi-Fi router.

This will help you resolve the problem and return the device online in the app. Here are the steps to do this.

Circle Doorbell

You can reboot your Circle device by pressing the Grey button from its back for about 10-15 seconds.

Release the button while a white light from its back turns off, and press the power button again for a few seconds to turn it back on.

Mobile Phone

And then you’ve to reboot your mobile phone, which is connected to the doorbell. So, press and hold the power button until it power button appears on the screen.

Next, tap/ slide the power button and wait about 30 seconds. Then power back the device by pressing and holding the power button.

Wi-Fi Router

Your Wi-Fi router does not have a power button, which you can use to shut it down and power it back again.

So, you should unplug the power adapter from the outlet and wait about 30 seconds. After that period, plug the adapter back into the outlet.

This process will power cycle your Wi-Fi router and cause it to be refreshed and work correctly.

2. Check Router Settings

You should also check your Wi-Fi network to ensure it is stable and does not cause issues. And if you have a dual-band frequency router, you should change its settings.

Suppose you have connected the Circle device to a 2.4 GHz network, which isn’t working; you should switch it to 5 GHz.

Switching the Wi-Fi channels helped many other users, and I faced the same issues with Logitech Circle View devices.

3. Place Router Closer

Another reason is the weak Wi-Fi network that causes this issue with your doorbell. If your router isn’t placed closer to the doorbell, it brings a slow Wi-Fi connection.

And resulting in the doorbell is offline from the app, you should move the router closer to the doorbell.

The ideal distance between the doorbell and your Wi-Fi router is 5 to 10 feet while setting it up. And then you can keep them at a distance of about 50 feet.

4. Force Stop the App

The Circle app is an essential part of the doorbell, which helps to record video or import events and shows you a preview of the doorbell camera.

If the app malfunctions, you can see this kind of issue with the Circle device. You should try to force stop the app, which will refresh it and start over again.

Here are the steps to do so:

1. Locate the Circle app on your phone.
