No, you cannot change your Ring doorbell Wi-Fi network without removing it from the wall or mounting plate. 

Because To change the Wi-Fi network, you’ll need to scan the QR code at the back of your Ring and press the reset button at its back as well. 

However, if you have Ring pro or other series with a setup button on the side instead of the backside, you can change its network by using the QR code inside the doorbell box. 

So this way, you can say it is impossible to change the Wi-Fi network for your Ring doorbell without drilling or removing it. 

How to Change Ring Doorbell Pro Wi-Fi Without Removing? 

You can change the network of your Ring doorbell pro without removing it from the wall; because it has the setup button on the side.

Here are the steps to change its network: 

1. Open the Ring app and then go to your Doorbell health section. 

2. Then select change Wi-Fi network and tap on continue. 

3. Press the setup button from its side to enter it into the setup mode. 

3. When the app asks to scan the QR code, you should bring your doorbell’s packaging box and scan the code provided inside it. 

4. Then, follow the on-screen instructions to finish the process.

Remove Doorbell 

1. First, you should locate your Ring screwdriver and put it on the TORX side. If you don’t have this, you can use a T15 screwdriver.

2. Unscrew the screws at the bottom of your doorbell.

3. Push the doorbell upward and release it from the mounting bracket.

Change Network 

1. Once you’ve removed the doorbell, put it closer to your phone. 

2. Open the Ring app > and tap the three-line menu icon from the top left corner. 

3. Here, you should select Devices > and click on the Ring doorbell for that you want to change the network. 

4. Next, you’ve to click on the Device Health option. 

5. And choose “change Wi-Fi network > click on continue

6. And then press the orange reset button at the back of your Ring doorbell > hit continue

7. Then it will ask that “ring doorbell wants to join the network” you should tap on join

8. It will ask you to select the network you want to connect to. 

9. Tap the network name and, enter a password, click continue. 

It will take a few seconds to connect to your new Wi-Fi network, so you should wait until it connects to the network. 

After connecting to the new network, you can remount the doorbell on its mounting bracket. Follow the below steps to remount it. 

1. Put it on the mounting bracket and push it down.

2. And tighten the screws with the screwdriver.

3. Now, your Ring doorbell is ready to use with a new network.
